Ti Kuan Yin (Iron Goddess of Mercy) Premium Grade
Ti Kuan Yin is a legendary Oolong tea from the Fujian province in China.
Oolong tea is semi fermented which is one of the reasons it has such a unique character. The semi fermentation gives the tea a little bit more body than a green tea but less body than a black tea ... and interestingly it gives the flavour a very unique twist.
Ti Kuan Yin is one of China's most beloved Oolongs and is extremely time-consuming to produce (well over a dozen distinct steps in the processing are observed). The name Tie Kuan Yin means "Iron Goddess of Mercy" and the tea is as magnificent as its name implies
