Pai Mu Tan / White Peony
Pai Mu Tan Grade 1 / Bai Mu Dan Grade 1 (also known as White Peony) is named after the beautiful white petals of the White Peony.
Produced in the Fujian Province in China, a province famous for its white tea.
Pai Mu Tan leaves are plucked from a special varietal tea bush. The leaves are naturally withered and dried in the sun.
This tea is produced from one bud and one to two leaves. Rather than using just the buds from the tea bush, Pai Mu Tan incorporates leaves into the mix, giving it a sweet, mellow, delicious taste.
White tea has a calming and detoxifying effect on the skin. White tea is especially potent in that it is has three times as many antioxidant
polyphenols as green or black tea and has been shown to be 100% more effective in mopping up free radicals that cause skin to sag.
