We deliver to the UK and to international countries.
We hand pack all of your items at our Tea Shop in Harborne, Birmingham, UK, where we try to ensure they are fit for their onward journey. Once they have been marked as dispatched we hand over their care using Royal Mail or MyHermes.
We aim to dispatch all orders within 2 working days from receipt of order (but in reality we do better than that and dispatch 96% next working day and we’re always aiming for 100%). Occasionally we may be awaiting a new shipment of tea in which case we would notify you if we expect a delay.

For the UK we offer the following delivery services:
- Standard Delivery £1.50
- Standard Rate of £1.50 for all orders less than £25.00
- Only valid on UK destinations
- This is our standard delivery service and usually arrives between 3 to 5 working days after placing your order.
- Standard UK deliveries over £25 qualify for FREE DELIVERY
- Only valid on standard UK deliveries valued at £25 or more
- Only valid on UK destinations
- An order constitutes a single delivery to a single address.
You can choose to collect your order from our shop in Harborne free of charge. Select "Collect from store at the checkout. We will try to have your order available for collection within 24 hours and we will notify you by email when it is ready. Our Shop is located at: Forty One, 41 High Street, Harborne, Birmingham, B17 9NT. We're open 9.30am – 5.00pm Tuesday - Saturday. Closed on Monday and Sunday.
Yes, we deliver orders worldwide.
Our international deliveries are charged by weight. Once you have placed your order, the delivery charge will appear in the checkout pages.
Deliveries within EU
For many countries (e.g. within the European Union) no charges apply but please check with your local customs.
Do I have to pay Import Duty if delivered to countries outside the EU?
Please be advised that orders delivered outside the EU may be subject to local taxes, import duties or customs charges. You are responsible for paying any import duty that may be payable on the Goods when they reach their destination. If charges are levied in your country and you refuse to pay them, you are responsible for the original shipping costs to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package.
How can I track my order?
As soon as your order is dispatched you will receive a dispatch email. Our cheapest delivery options are not trackable but for peace of mind you can select trackable services for International deliveries.
With trackable service you will be issued with a tracking number so that you can keep updated on the delivery status of your parcel.
If non trackable delivery service has been selected, Forty One Tea will not be held liable for any items lost during transit.
Please ensure that someone is available at your delivery address to accept the goods, as a signature is required for a tracking service. If you are not present when the delivery is attempted, you will be left a card informing you what to do next.
Can I cancel my order?
We endeavour to provide the best customer service we can. Should a problem arise, we will make every effort to resolve the issue. However, should the problem be unsolvable, or you prefer to cancel your order please contact us. Unfortunately it will not always be possible to stop the order if this has already been picked up by the delivery service. In this case Forty One Tea will not be liable for the postage. We advise you check the process of the order before you request cancellation
